Within this Purchase Policy, ‘users’ and ‘user’ refers to anyone accessing and visiting Ticket Room Ltd’s website, systems and/or programs, for information purposes, completing, and/or attempting to complete purchase of an event ticket, service and/or product.
Within this Purchase Policy, ‘event organiser’ refers to an individual and/or company selling tickets to their event via Ticket Room Ltd’s website, systems and/or programs.
This Purchase Policy is an extension of the Ticket Room (‘Ticket Room Ltd.’) Terms and Conditions. Although all paragraphs, sub-paragraphs, and clauses of the Purchase Policy are documented separately to our Terms and Conditions, all clauses within the Terms and Conditions are still applicable. Users should ensure they are familiar with the latest version of the Terms and Conditions before reading and/or referencing this Purchase Policy.
Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to alter this Purchase Policy at any time without warning or notification. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure they are familiar with the latest version of the Ticket Room Ltd Purchase Policy each time they make a purchase. The Purchase Policy version is detailed at the top of this page.
Clause headings shall not affect the construction and/or interpretation of this agreement.
- Events and Descriptions
- Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for the events listed on our website and/or systems. Ticket Room Ltd advertises events on behalf of third-party event organisers and acts as an event ticketing software provider only. Any additional services provided by us, such as the collection and/or processing of payments, does not increase our responsibility, involvement, and/or liability as stated within this clause and/or the entirety of this agreement.
- Ticket Room Ltd makes no guarantee, whether expressed or implied, as to the recipient(s) of stated charges and/or fees. Depending on the commercial agreements between Ticket Room Ltd and the sellers using our website and/or systems, fees such as stated booking fees and/or transaction fees may belong to the event organiser and not entirely to Ticket Room Ltd either in whole or in part. The user has no right to review and/or request such commercial agreements and/or information about the contents within them.
- As part of our contractual agreement with third-party event organisers, we are required to share some/all of your personal information to third-party event organisers for the purpose of security, ticket verification, and/or communicating information related to the event for which the user has purchased tickets. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for the communications users receive from third-party event organisers and/or their handling of users’ information.
- Ticket Room Ltd will not share all of the user’s credit/debit card details with third-party event organisers. As part of our ticket verification method, we will only share the first six digits and last four digits of the user’s card number. The third-party event organiser(s) is required to visually check the card the user has used to make payment to ensure the last four digits on the card match the details used during the transaction. The user must not allow their credit/ debit card to be taken out of sight by the third-party event organiser or anyone associated (or claiming to be associated) with the organiser. At no point will event organisers be required by Ticket Room Ltd to record any details shown on the user’s credit/debit car Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred as a result of any of these circumstances (or similar circumstances) occurring. If the user suspects anything suspicious, they are required to contact their card issuer immediately and, if necessary, the police.
- Refusal or failure to produce a passport and/or driving license, and the credit/debit card used to purchase the event ticket(s) will result in refusal into the event. In such circumstances, a refund will not be provided.
- Ticket Room Ltd takes reasonable actions to ensure that all information shown is accurate and correct, but makes no guarantee and accepts no liability. At times, information relating to events including (but not limited to) ticket price(s) may be corrected or changed. In circumstances in which ticket prices are corrected, the user will be requested to pay the outstanding balance or offered a refund only for the amount they have paid. If we are unable to get in contact with the user in such circumstances, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund the user’s money back to the card used to make the original payment. Ticket Room Ltd does not guarantee information shown to be accurate or correct and, therefore, does not accept any responsibility or loss as a result of incorrect information, pricing, and/or for not being able to get in contact with users.
- Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for the events listed on our website and/or systems. Ticket Room Ltd advertises events on behalf of third-party event organisers and acts as an event ticketing software provider only. - Event attendance
- Venue management, security, and/or event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without explanation. This includes (but is not limited to) circumstances in which the user is believed to have consumed too much alcohol, the user’s behaviour is deemed abusive or inappropriate, the user is suspected of illegally using a controlled substance, the user is attempting to enter the event after the given last entry time, the user has breached the events/venues rules and regulations, terms and conditions, and/or entry policy. If the user has already gained entry into the event and one or more of these circumstances are found to have occurred, the user may be asked and/or forced to leave the event.
- In circumstances in which the user is refused entry, asked, and/or forced to leave the event, the event organiser and Ticket Room Ltd are not liable to issue the user with a refund. In circumstances in which the event organiser has agreed to issue a refund, we will not release any funds until authorisation has been given to us by the organiser in writing. Approval of a refund from an event organiser does not guarantee a refund of the Ticket Room Ltd booking fee and/or transaction fee.
- Event managers may require compulsory security searches to be undertaken to ensure safety of individual users and others. Refusal of a search may result in refusal of entry into the event without refund. If a user is found to be in possession of an illegal, offensive, and/or a dangerous item(s), they may be refused entry into the event without refund.
- If the user believes they have been treated unfairly by the event organiser, Ticket Room Ltd may take reasonable actions to investigate such a claim if it is possible to do so. The user must contact us in writing within 5 calendar days (including weekends and bank holidays) of the event ending, otherwise their claim may be ignored and any rights to a potential refund waivere
- Venue management, security, and/or event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without explanation. - Ticket purchase agreement
- Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled or postponed. Any terms and conditions outlined by the event organiser in the event description must be taken into account in such circumstances.
- Tickets are sold subject to the event organiser’s right to alter or vary the event programme due to events or circumstances beyond their reasonable control without being obliged to issue refunds or exchange tickets.
- Under circumstances in which the user deems it appropriate to make a complaint about an event and request a refund, the user must make the request in writing to complaints@ticketroom.co.uk within 5 calendar days (including weekends and all bank holidays) of the event ending. The user must provide their full name as shown on their order, the name of the event, order reference number, and confirm their home address and email address as given in their Ticket Room Ltd user account. Failure to comply with this will result in the complaint and/or refund request being refused and ignored.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled or postponed. Any terms and conditions outlined by the event organiser in the event description must be taken into account in such circumstances.
- Deposit Scheme payments
- The Ticket Room Ltd Deposit Scheme allows users to purchase their ticket(s) and pay in two pre-set instalments. The first instalment is the deposit for the ticket(s) and reserves the ticket(s) up until the deposit deadline. The deposit deadline will be confirmed in the order confirmation email and/or during the checkout stages. The user must ensure they have paid the remainder of the ticket price by the deposit deadline that has been set. Failure to do so will result in the ticket being cancelled and the user will not receive a refund of their deposit amount. This includes the Ticket Room Ltd booking fee and/or transaction fee added on to the order.
- Ticket Room Ltd may send out a courtesy email or phone the user to remind them of their deposit deadline. Ticket Room Ltd has no obligation to do so and makes no guarantee that users will be contacted by us, the event organiser, and/or any other third party to remind them of the deposit deadline. By using the Ticket Room Ltd Deposit Scheme, the user accepts that no one is responsible for reminding them of the deadline and, therefore, accept no loss as a result of the deposit deadline not being met.
- Ticket Room Ltd may contact the user via email and/or phone to remind them of payment but will never request the user to pay the remainder of the deposit scheme over the phone or via another payment channel other than the Ticket Room website (www.ticketroom.co.uk). Ticket Room Ltd accepts no responsibility or loss as a result of fraudulent payment requests by anyone claiming to be Ticket Room Ltd, the event organiser, and/or any other third party. In such (or similar) circumstances, the user will still be liable to pay the remainder of the deposit scheme to Ticket Room Ltd by the deposit deadline, otherwise the ticket will be cancelled and the user will not be given a refund for the deposit amount. This includes the Ticket Room Ltd booking fee and/or transaction fee added on to the order.
- The Ticket Room Ltd Deposit Scheme allows users to purchase their ticket(s) and pay in two pre-set instalments. - Event alteration and cancellation
- Decisions to cancel and/or change events is the responsibility of the third-party event organiser and not Ticket Room Ltd. It is the user’s responsibility to determine whether or not an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable means to relay details to ticket holders once we have received the information from the event organisers. We make no guarantee that ticket holders will be informed by Ticket Room Ltd of such circumstances before the date of the event; therefore, we are not responsible for any loss incurred by the user as a result of not being informed of such changes.
- Decisions to cancel and/or change events is the responsibility of the third-party event organiser and not Ticket Room Ltd. It is the user’s responsibility to determine whether or not an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable means to relay details to ticket holders once we have received the information from the event organisers. We make no guarantee that ticket holders will be informed by Ticket Room Ltd of such circumstances before the date of the event; therefore, we are not responsible for any loss incurred by the user as a result of not being informed of such changes.
- Communication
- It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the information we hold about them on their Ticket Room Ltd user account is correct and up to date.
- Ticket Room Ltd may only discuss purchases via email using the email address associated with the transaction.
- In circumstances in which access to this email address is not available, Ticket Room Ltd may ask various security questions and/or requests to confirm the user’s identity.
- In circumstances in which Ticket Room Ltd is not satisfied with the user’s response to the security questions and/or requests, we reserve the right to deny discussion of the relevant transaction. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss as a result of the user’s failure to satisfactorily answer security questions and/or satisfy Ticket Room Ltd of their identity.
- When the email address associated with the transaction is used but suspicion over the sender’s identity arises, Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to request information in order to confirm the user’s identity. With reference to section 6d, Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user as a result of failing to answer security questions and/or satisfy Ticket Room Ltd of the user’s identity.
- It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the information we hold about them on their Ticket Room Ltd user account is correct and up to date.
- Restrictions of re-sale and distribution
- Tickets on the Ticket Room Ltd website and/or systems must only be purchased for personal use and not for resale. Unlawful and/or unauthorised resale (or attempted resale) of a ticket will result in ticket(s) being seized/cancelled without refund or compensation. In circumstances in which not all of the tickets within an order are advertised for sale, Ticket Room Ltd may still cancel all other tickets associated with that order and/or with the individual who made the order without refund or compensation. This also applies to tickets that are being sold as part of a ‘package’ such as with (but not limited to) accommodation and/or travel arrangements.
- Even in circumstances in which the event organiser(s) has given permission for the tickets purchased through Ticket Room Ltd to be resold, the user is still not permitted by us to carry out such activity due to ticket verification and fraud complication. In these circumstances, consequences in section 10a still apply and the user accepts all responsibility and loss as a result of the new ticket occupant being refused entry to the event. This also applies to tickets that are being sold as part of a ‘package’ such as with (but not limited to) accommodation and/or travel arrangements.
- Tickets purchased through Ticket Room Ltd cannot be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes unless we have received written consent from the event organiser confirming such an agreement. Arrangements must be made through Ticket Room Ltd with regard to ticket verification at the event and liability. In such circumstances in which agreements are required, an administration fee may be applicable. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the ticket(s) and any other ticket(s) associated with the user who purchased said ticket(s) being cancelled without refund.
- Tickets on the Ticket Room Ltd website and/or systems must only be purchased for personal use and not for resale. Unlawful and/or unauthorised resale (or attempted resale) of a ticket will result in ticket(s) being seized/cancelled without refund or compensation. In circumstances in which not all of the tickets within an order are advertised for sale, Ticket Room Ltd may still cancel all other tickets associated with that order and/or with the individual who made the order without refund or compensation. This also applies to tickets that are being sold as part of a ‘package’ such as with (but not limited to) accommodation and/or travel arrangements.
- Users miscellaneous acknowledgements
- Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time if we suspect it has been made fraudulently. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user as a result of bookings being cancelled and/or refunded.
- Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to delay, refuse, or cancel orders in circumstances in which the details within the checkout stage and/or the user’s account are missing or incorrect. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user in such circumstances.
- The user’s ticket purchase is only accepted by us once we have emailed confirmation and the user is able to access their e-ticket via their user account. Failure to receive an e-ticket and/or to access the e-ticket may mean the user’s ticket purchase has not been accepted. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure their ticket purchase has been accepted. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user due to ticket purchases not being accepted.
- In circumstances in which multiple tickets have been purchased for the same and/or multiple events, the user must ensure each individual ticket has been accepte Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user due to only part of a ticket order being accepte
- It is the user’s responsibility to immediately check the e-ticket is correct. If it is found that details on the e-ticket are incorrect, the user must contact us immediately (within 24 hours of transaction confirmation) so that the ticket can be corrected. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user as a result of not providing Ticket Room Ltd with reasonable time to amend ticket errors.
- Ticket Room Ltd and event organisers are not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen, or damaged resulting in the user being unable to enter the event. In such circumstances, a refund will not be provided.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to admit latecomers into an event but admission cannot always be guaranteed. In such circumstances, Ticket Room and/or the event organiser(s) are not responsible for any loss incurred, including (but not limited to) refunding the user’s ticket(s), booking fee(s), and card handling fee(s).
- The venue and/or event organiser reserve the right to provide alternative seating to that specified on the ticket if it is not possible to provide the user with their previously allocated seats due to reasons reasonably out of their control. No loss can occur on Ticket Room Ltd’s behalf as a result.
- There will be no pass-outs or re-admissions of any kind. The user will be refused re-entry and a refund will not be provided.
- In circumstances in which a full refund, part refund, and/or compensation payment is agreed between the user and the event organiser and/or Ticket Room Ltd, we will only issue a refund to the card used to make the original payment and only up to the value of the transaction amount.
- In some venues, the unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment is prohibited. Tapes, files, films, hardware, and/or data may be destroyed by the venue management and/or security under such circumstances. Ticket Room Ltd accepts no responsibility or loss as a result of such circumstances.
- Events may be filmed, recorded, and/or photographed for promotional material or for public broadcasting via (but not limited to) the internet, radio, and/or television. By purchasing tickets to events, users give consent for any video, audio, and/or photographic material of themselves and/or other ticket holders associated with their order to be used by the venue, event organiser, Ticket Room Ltd, and/or any of their commercial partners as described.
- Ticket Room Ltd accepts no responsibility for the use of such material when used by the venue, event organiser, and/or any other third party.
- Ticket Room Ltd, event organisers, performers, venues, and/or their partners are not responsible for any personal property under any circumstances.
- Users must ensure that they are fully compliant with all relevant safety announcements and venue regulations while attending the event.
- Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time if we suspect it has been made fraudulently. Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for any loss incurred by the user as a result of bookings being cancelled and/or refunded.
- Limitations and Liability
- In the event of accident, sickness, and/or death, Ticket Room Ltd, its directors, shareholders, staff, affiliates, and/or representatives cannot be held personally responsible.
- Ticket Room Ltd does not guarantee venues, buildings, or facilities to be safe and/or in line with UK legislations. In circumstances in which the venue is deemed to be legally liable for an accident and/or incident, Ticket Room Ltd, its directors, shareholders, staff, affiliates, and/or representatives cannot be held personally responsible or accountable in any way.
- If Ticket Room Ltd is found to be in breach of any agreements and/or laws, no liability can be personally brought against its directors, shareholders, and/or staff.
- If the user is found to be in breach of this Purchase Policy and/or any agreements, Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to reclaim any losses and/or compensation directly from the user.
- If any claims and/or complaints made by the user are found to be frivolous, Ticket Room Ltd reserves the right to recoup any losses and/or compensation from the user as a result of such claims and/or complaints.
- Ticket Room Ltd is not responsible for the direct and/or indirect act of third-party companies and/or individuals.
- Nothing within this agreement is intended to exempt Ticket Room Ltd from UK law, whether stated or implied.
- In the event of accident, sickness, and/or death, Ticket Room Ltd, its directors, shareholders, staff, affiliates, and/or representatives cannot be held personally responsible.
